A child's imagination is limitless, and Sarah's Silks range of Playsilks tap directly into their incredible creative potential. Playsilks are simple silk toys, costumes and dress-up clothing in a variety of beautiful colours, designed to encourage children to turn the cloth into a cape, a sea to sail a boat on or to stage curtains for a puppet show. And, of course, parents can join in the fun, too! Play a game of peek-a-boo, build a fort and show your child the joy of creating their own stories and worlds for endless exploration.
The entire Sarah's Silks collection can be hand washed in the sink, bathtub or a basin.
how to wash
Wash with mild dish soap or shampoo.
Hang the wet silk to dry.
If you want to, you can medium iron to restore the shine.
It is best to wash each playsilk separately incase some of the dye runs. Whilst they should be colourfast, occasionally one of the darker colours may run. If this is a problem simply add some vinegar to the rinse. Vinegar is the solvent used when Sarah's Silks are dyeing. it makes the dye take to the silk.
